The Best Book For Beginner Copywriters: The Boron Letters

Gary C. Halbert has been called "one of the greatest copywriter of all time". And his book "The Boron Letters" provides an insight into his personal and professional philosophies.

The letters were written during Gary's stint in Boron Federal Prison and were addressed to his son, Bond. The personal and intimate feel of the letters kept me interested and receptive to its messages.

While the book contains priceless nuggets of information about the copywriting trade, I was most affected by Gary's lessons on persistence and mental fortitude.

After spending an afternoon with the book, I felt motivated to not just write copy, but to also reflect on my life.
