This motif is further highlighted by the use of the popular phrase "In case you needed a little refresher". This pun underlines Fanta's thirst-quenching quality. But also plays on the fact that soft drinks are often referred to as refreshments.

A historic heat wave has recently enveloped the West Coast, forcing affected residents to seek all types of ways to cool down. But in my opinion, the best way to cool down is to go to a coffee shop and enjoy a cup of iced coffee in an air-conditioned environment. The idea for this spec ad sprung up during a walk yesterday afternoon. The sun was blaring down on me and I was looking for relief. Luckily, I saw a Dunkin' Donuts in the distance. The storefront looked like an oasis in an unforgiving desert. I went in and was quickly greeted by the air conditioning. Tired and impatient, I ordered a medium vanilla iced coffee in a single breath. The first sip transported me back to last winter. I found myself imagining the freezing air on my cheeks. And I even shivered a little bit. Taken aback, I grasped my wooden seat and was compelled to alert others to this breakthrough. With this epiphany in mind, I raced home and created this ad.
