I don't have much time to play video games but I try to sneak in a few hours of Overwatch every weekend.

There are rumors that the game is waning in popularity...

So let's change that by making their website copy more inclusive and personal.

My Edited Version


The simple replacement of 'the' with 'our' makes a world of difference. The phrase 'Fight for OUR Future' makes the stakes feel more real than 'Fight for the Future'.

The wording of the backstory has been tweaked to make it flow better. And sentences have been shortened to provided eye relief for readers.

I hate boring call-to-action button text so  'Explore the game' has been changed to 'ANSWER THE CALL', which also ties back to the backstory.

What do you think of my changes? Do you think my edits would have any effect on increasing the player-base?
